What we collect

- Your writing: projects, chapters, notes, outlines, and goals you create.
- Usage data: basic, privacy-respecting analytics like page views and error reports.
- Billing data: handled by our payment processor; we never see or store your full card number.
How we use it
- To run the service: store your writing, sync devices, and display it back to you.
- To keep your account secure (for example, the 3-device limit).
- To process subscription payments and prevent fraud.
- To communicate important account or service updates.
What we don’t do
- We do not sell your personal data.
- We do not use your writing to train third-party AI models.
- Other users cannot see your private projects, chapters, or notes.
Sharing with processors
We use trusted infrastructure providers to host the database, run authentication, process payments, and send transactional email. They may only process your data on our behalf to deliver the service.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to your projects, chapters, and notes is enforced at the database level by row-level security so other users cannot read or modify them.
Your rights
You can access, export, or delete your data at any time. To delete your account and all associated data, contact hello@wordmark.app.
